DWI Client Found Not Guilty at Jury Trial

On July 22, 2008, Mr. Williams obtained a verdict of not guilty from a jury in Pitt County Superior Court. The client was charged with driving while impaired and had blown a .12 on the intoxilzyer machine. Mr. Williams was able to cross-examine the officer using special courtroom presentation software to demonstrate inconsistencies and other problems with the case. The jury deliberated for approximately 20 minutes before returning the not guilty verdict. The client was a decorated military veteran who was grateful for the jury's decision and the efforts of Mr. Williams on his behalf.
